Disney Cruise Line is an amazing experience for the entire family. The cruise ships are overflowing with innovation and imagination.
There are exclusive kids’ clubs featuring Andy’s Room from Toy Story, MARVEL’s Avengers Academy, Pixie Hollow, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. And then there are exclusive areas for adults-dining, pools, spas, fitness centers, and so much more!
Traveling with teens or tweens? They are covered, too. They have their own space on Disney Cruise Line as well-Edge and Vibe-the two getaways geared toward tweens and teens will give them plenty of fun and super cool experiences while being supervised by the coolest counselors at sea.
Sound like fun? Of course! But before you set sail with Disney Cruise Line, I am going to share with you some of the facts about cruising with Disney.
- Disney Cruise Line is “all inclusive”. That means that everything-aside from alcoholic drinks, spa treatments, and the adult only restaurants-is included in your cruise fare. Original Disney stage productions, movies on deck, first run films, dining in three unique restaurants, family clubs with games shows and dance parties, and more magical fun are part of cruising with Disney.
- Disney Cruise Line offers the largest staterooms of any cruise line. They are designed specifically for families to ensure comfort and plenty of room for everyone. From a Standard Inside Stateroom with a queen size bed and a convertible sofa that is perfect for a family of 4-or even a couple-to a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateoom with room for 5 guests-there is plenty of space to be had. Imagine your children falling asleep on the upper berth in your stateroom with Tinkerbell twinkling above. How magical!
- Disney Cruise Line sails everywhere! The Caribbean, Bahamas, Mediterranean, Venice, Alaska, and now for 2015 from Copenhagen to the Norwegian fjords! And, all sailings out of Miami or Port Canaveral to the Bahamas and the Caribbean have special stop at Castaway Cay-Disney’s private island in the Bahamas, giving you even more magical family fun!
- Disney Cruise Line is the only cruise line to offer rotational dining. This means that you dine in a different restaurant each night. Your Disney Cruise waitstaff stays with you the entire length of your cruise. They’ll get to know you and your family’s likes and dislikes while you enjoy a different restaurant every night. At select seatings, Disney Youth Counselors will come and whisk your kiddos away to enjoy some fun play time after they’ve eaten so you can enjoy a little time sans kids at the dinner table.
