Money Saving Monday: Upromise

Turn Your Everyday Spending into College Savings!

So a good friend brought to my attention yesterday that I have yet to bring up Upromise here. My first thought was…wait, are you sure?
Sure enough though, I haven’t said a word about it!

To be honest I don’t think about it much. It’s linked to my debit card and my grocery store cards and I have a toolbar downloaded onto my computer. Anytime I make a qualifying purchase I get a small percentage of that cash back into my Upromise account. If I am making an online purchase I have their “Turbo Saver” Program downloaded so it immediately alerts me if the purchase I am making will give me cash back through Upromise.Just like Cellfire,Shortcuts and P&G Esaver you can load coupons directly to your grocery store card from their site.

It’s not money you’ll see right away (although you can request a check of your savings and they send out checks once per quarter), but it’s money that can really add up over time. You can also link it your 529 college savings plan or just a regular savings account or CD Upromise is the smart way to save for college!
