Strategic Shopping:
How do I get started with Strategic Shopping?
I recommend heading over to my Strategic Shopping series to start off (still in progress). Most importantly though, I encourage you to download my free ebook in google doc format, “Save Money in 7 Days“.
I don’t understand coupon lingo, what does it all mean!?
Check out this post here: Learning the Coupon Lingo
How do I know which offers you post I should take advantage of/sign up for?
I post a lot of great deals, coupons, freebies and money making opportunities every week. Only you know what you will benefit from and what your budget allows. Freebies are great, and I think you should probably sign up for all of them that your family might enjoy! Coupons, only print out those that you think you might use. If you enjoy making money online, sign up for any money making opportunities that catch your eye. Be a bit more discerning with the hot deals though. Remember that deals happen often. Just because something is a hot deal today, doesn’t mean that deal won’t come around again. Don’t feel like you have to take advantage of everything!
I’m from Canada, is it possible to strategically shop here?
Many of the deals I post are applicable to my Canadian readers, however not all are. I encourage you to check out the following Canadian bloggers:
Where can I find a coupon for “x” product?
Check out my awesome coupon database for any and all coupons! If you are looking for the latest coupons I’ve posted, you can click on the Coupons tab on the navigation bar.
The Blog:
What is the best way to navigate through the site?
I highly recommend using the navigation bar up top OR if you want to go in chronological order, just use the enumerated buttons on the bottom of the blog page.
Do you post on a specific schedule? When can I expect to see recipes? money saving tips? giveaways?
I do strive to post on a pretty consistent schedule, however I don’t publicize that schedule. I have a family that needs me, and I don’t want to let my readers down if life gets in the way. However, you can pretty much always count on my Blog Hops, Make a Change Monday, Tot Tuesday, Works for Me Wednesday and Wordless Wednesday posts to post as scheduled.
I found a great deal, can I email it to you?
Definitely. Heather @ familyfriendlyfrugality.com (without the spaces)
I sent you a great deal, why didn’t you post it?
I try and balance my deals and my content posts. So I don’t post every deal I see/hear about. I post what I think my readers will most appreciate as a whole. However, just because I didn’t post your deal this time, doesn’t mean I won’t next time!
Can I link to your blog?
By all means, if you see a deal here and want to share it…go for it! I ask for a link back to give me credit and please don’t copy and paste any of my articles (I work hard on those!).
I have a business and I’d love for you to review my product/provide a giveaway for your readers. Do you accept PR pitches?
Yes, I do. However, if I don’t think it’s a good fit, I will politely turn it down.
I really would love to guest post on your site. Do you accept guest posts?
I love guest posts. It should be in the frugal living niche and you can link back to yourself in your bio. Links within the content itself (that aren’t absolutely necessary) turn a guest post into a sponsored post, and I charge for sponsored posts. I do not charge for guest posts though! So bring them on!
What do you charge for sponsored posts?
Email me at heather @ familyfriendlyfrugality.com
What do you charge for advertising?
Email me at heather @ familyfriendlyfrugality.com
Will you help me with my blog?
Most likely, yes I will. My family comes first and my own blog comes first, but I love to help other bloggers. However, be sure to read through my blogging category to make sure I haven’t already answered your question somewhere.
Will you place my button or my link on your blog?
Unfortunately, as my blog has grown, I’ve had to stop doing this. For one, I simply started to get too many requests. I also accept private paid advertising and it would not be fair to require my private advertisers to pay and still continue to maintain a free blogroll.
What ad network do you work with?
I am currently working with totallyher.
I really appreciated the information you had to offer. I was thinking it would be nice to see your meal plans or menus, though. Thank you!
Are there limits to how many online coupons you can print per computer or per printer and if so then how many? Kind of new to this! Thanks for this awesome website! Helps so much!
I’ve been doing coupon shopping for a while now but I just don’t have the time to always cut the Sunday inserts. I’ve bought coupons from a few services. I just found a new cutting service that is reasonably priced and they ship everyday so even if I’m running out of time with my sale they will ship quickly and I get the coupons fast. They have coupons that aren’t available in my area and even some that other services don’t carry. Check them out http://www.couponcuttersco.com
