Five Question Friday: Happy Friday Y’all!

Time for 5 Question Friday!

1.Who is the better cook, you or your spouse?

Well, I bet my husband would be a great cook if he cared to be. He cooks easy things for us and for some reason it always tastes better. I’m not sure if that’s because he’s better at making Hamburger Helper or because I didn’t have to cook it myself ;)

2. How often do you talk to your mom?

I wish I could say every day. My mom died of ovarian cancer when I was 12 years old. I miss her every single day and it never gets easier. I have lots of love and smiles in my life now though, and I know she’s watching over me!

3. Are you adventurous in the kitchen or stick to the recipe?

A mix of both. I have no reservations about changing up a recipe if I’m out of an ingredient or I don’t like something. I do like to stick closely to a recipe the first time through though. I almost always change it up the second time though. (which frustrates my husband! He thinks if it was good one time…I should make it the same. Yes..but it could be BETTER)

4. Is your second toe longer than your big toe?

Why yes it is!

5. Do you dress up for Halloween? (Bonus question: What will you be this year?)

Not really. I mean sometimes I wear my pajamas with Tweety Bird and put my hair in pigtails. I call myself a baby. It’s really just an excuse to wear comfy PJ’s in public though!
