It’s Personal…

My church is currently doing a series called “It’s Personal”. They encouraged all of us to mail in postcards a la Post Secret style with our biggest hurts, habits and hang ups. It’s anonymous of course, because they are posting them on a blog.
Check it out. It’s real. 100% real raw emotions. Maybe it will make you feel like you aren’t alone? Maybe it will make you realize your life isn’t that bad? Maybe, if you aren’t a Christ follower, it will show you that those of us who are…aren’t that much different than you.
Keep checking back, I’m sure more cards will be sent in throughout the next few weeks.

Why am I sharing this with you this Monday morning? I guess you can say it’s just food for thought for the week. Take that however you wish.

For more info on where we worship…check out the Just for Houston Tab up top. If you are local, I encourage you to come check it out. It’s a church for everyone. Come as you are and have some coffee…jeans and tshirts perfectly acceptable! I promise your life will be changed.

  1. Thank you for sharing this blog. As I was reading through the post cards, I kept thinking, that there is no problem that is too big for God. Sometimes, as Chirstians, we walk have to walk through a valley. But, God has promised us that he would never leave us or forsake us, and that's he's there with us every step of the way.

  2. I agree Tracy. I love that line in the song "Our God is greater, Our God is stronger, Our God is higher than any other". No problem is too big for Our God!
