***Advertising for June is all filled up, but get on the waiting list for July here: Low Cost Advertising on Family Friendly Frugality
Have you ever considered advertising for your website? Family Friendly Frugality has awesome low cost advertising for your blog/website right over on the sidebar! For just $25 a month, you can have your 125×125 button displayed throughout the entire site.
Here’s some info on Family Friendly Frugality:
- Averages around 105,000 pageviews every 30 days (this number has been aggressively climbing for months now!)
- Has a dedicated following on Facebook with over 6000 fans
- Twitter followers: 2000+
- 2000+ email subscribers (subscribe by email today!)
- Alexa Worldwide ranking of 35,693; Ranked 5,090 in the United States
- The average reader is a mom who loves to save money!
- 50% of traffic comes from search engines, which means brand new eyes on your button daily!
So how much does it cost? In comparison to other sites with comparable traffic, I’ve been told charging $25 a month is crazy! People will pay double/triple that. However, I wanted to make sure my advertising was affordable to everyone. Over time, I might raise the rates, but for right now $25 a month works.
Right now I have several spots open for the month of June @ $25. Let me tell you what an advertising package on Family Friendly Frugality consists of:
- 125×125 button placement on my sidebar (visually appealing buttons DEFINITELY get more clicks)
- Random shout outs on Facebook
- I hold a $50 giveaway in honor of my sponsors every month. Which encourages the build up of your Facebook fan base.
- For the month of June, 100% of the proceeds from private ad sales will be donated to the American Red Cross to help those in Joplin, MO and other disaster areas.
This does include all private ad sales for the month of June. So if I sell 8 advertising blocks at $25, I will give $200 to the Red Cross. If I only sell 6, it will be $150. I will be paying for the sponsor appreciation giveaway out of my own pocket, so that will not deduct from the amount donated to the Red Cross.
Why am I doing this? To be honest, the site is doing well…and this is the absolute least I can do. I hope to do more, but this is what I’m comfortable publicly announcing for right now.
In essence, if you do decide to advertise on Family Friendly Frugality during the month of June…you will be donating $25 to the Red Cross and advertising for free here 😉 (with a $50 giveaway in your honor). Not a bad deal if you ask me!
Here are what some of my previous sponsors have to say about advertising on Family Friendly Frugality:
“Advertising with Family Friendly Frugality has been a great move for my blog. In just one month I have 5x as many facebook fans! Traffic directly to my site has also improved greatly. My ad is not just another box to put in Heather’s sidebar to earn a check. She communicates with me and actively promotes my site and it’s best features. She answers my questions and offers suggestions to help improve the way I run my site. Her thoughtful advice has helped me to spend less time on things that don’t improve traffic and more time on the things that do. Investing in advertising with Family Friendly Frugality is a move that no small website owner will regret.”
Once a blogger has been blogging for a while, they start to wonder what the next step is. If you want to expand, advertising comes to mind. At least it came to mine! I knew I wanted my button (click here to see 20something Saver’s button) on a blog that get lots of views! I also knew I wanted the blog that I advertise with to be related to 20something Saver in some way.
Usually, advertising is frowned upon when a blogger is a “newbie”. Why? Because if a blogger is new, they still haven’t found their niche.
In comes Heather from Family Friendly Frugality. Yes, her blog covers deals, coupons, and other money-saving ideas, but her blog also covers something moreimportant– family! Heather is always posting fun activities that are family-friendly, or fun projects you should try with your kids. No, I don’t have kids, but family is still important to me!
I am the type of person that thinks success can come overnight. Literally. And although that is not possible, overnight I literally did have more traffic! It’s been so much fun to meet my readers that Heather sent me and I plan on advertising with her for many months to come!
“I couldn’t be happier with my decision to advertise at Family Friendly Frugality. Not only have I had an increase in traffic, but I’m also confident that I’ve gotten the most for my advertising dollars. Heather has totally gone above and beyond for her sponsors. She doesn’t just let our ads sit idle. She also featured a brief review of each sponsor on her blog and even plans to promote her sponsors on Twitter as well.”
