Re-Purpose Old Jeans=Boutique Style Ruffle Pants and Halter Top!

So yesterday I purchased 3 new pairs of jeans to replace my old tattered and torn ones (Lane Bryant buy 3 pairs of jeans for the price of 1 is still good!).  This left me with 3 pairs of jeans with enough imperfections to not donate or resell, but still it made me feel a bit bad just throwing them away.

So I did what I do best, and I re-purposed them! Okay, I’ve only re-purposed one so far, but I am LOVING the results!

How cute is that? She deserved such a cute outfit after she got attacked by ants today.

Poor thing. She noticed the backyard needed a little mowing, so she grabbed the bubble mower and went to work! The best part about making her boutique style clothing myself (especially when I make it from stash fabric and an old pair of jeans!) is that it’s totally okay if it gets dirty!

I love re-purposing old to make new. Do you have anything you’ve re-purposed lately? Tell me about it! If you wrote a blog post about it, link me to it!

Curious about how to get started sewing or crafting? This is my favorite site in the whole entire world (well except my own):

  1. Oh my goodness! That is so darling! I want a girl so badly! 🙁

Well, I have a couple of nieces, that's good enough for me for now. Thanks for the link!

  2. Thanks so much! Yeah having a girl is a blast! Nieces are so great though because you get to spoil them and send them back to their parents, LOL
