Thankful Thursday

I’ve been spending the morning going through my daughters baby clothes deciding what to sell, what to donate, what to keep for her, and what is stained beyond all stain removers capabilities.

Close to a Year

Almost 3 1/2 years old!

It’s a bit overwhelming when I think of how fast they are growing. I look at some of the clothes from when she was 3-6 months old and it’s practically in pristine condition. Probably because she only wore it a handful of times before growing out of it! I feel like I’ve had my kids forever, and like it’s going by in a blink of an eye. I try to stop many times throughout the day and “Click! Take a Pic!” (that’s a Diego reference there 😉 ) in my mind of them right now. Of the sweet moments, the frustrating moments, the quiet moments and the (more common) loud moments.

Today I am thankful for so much, most of all though I am thankful for every day I have with my babies. I suspect they will always be my babies. Even when they are grown and gone. I am thankful that we keep our life simple and uncomplicated while our children are small so we can enjoy them. Most of all I am thankful that God chose me to bless me with them.

It took me 2 hours to type this post thanks to the kids I am so thankful for! It might seem frustrating when I’m trying to get work done, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.
