Tot Tuesday: Clothespin Horses

kids activities

Tot Tuesday is a weekly feature where I highlight a special kids activity, frugal recipe for kids, kids tutorial, etc.

I saw this kids activity and just knew my children would love it!

First you color the horses a variety of colors. Then you paint (or color with marker) the clothespins. Now have the child match the clothespins to the correct horse.

They also suggest this activity for older children to learn to count by two (since each clothespin has two “legs”).

My kids loved matching the colors. Noah practiced his colors in Spanish, and Lizzie is still working on learning them in English. I love when one kids activity can be fun and educational for both kids!

You can find this kids activity on Making Learning Fun!
