Highlight of the Weekend:
Family festivities abound for all the little ghouls, goblins, superheroes, and princesses this Halloween weekend:
* Scream on the Green at Discovery Green features music and dancing, trick-or-treating, face painting, larger-than-life puppets, magicians, Mad Science shows, and costume contests with prizes in many categories.
* Tricks, Treats, & T-Rex at the Museum of Natural Science offers kids the chance to wear their Halloween costumes and enjoy Mad Science demonstrations, magic shows, samples of cooked insects, and “Creepy Chemist” experiments.
* ArBOOretum at the Houston Arboretum includes trick-or-treating through the forest, pumpkin decorating, train rides, a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, and hayrides.

Friday:
The annual Ballunar Liftoff Festival includes skydiving exhibitions, evening balloon-glows, arts and crafts, live entertainment, and hot air balloon liftoffs…

We have a soccer and baseball game that will take up from about 12:15 to 5:45 on Saturday. Annual Pumpkin Party with the family Sunday afternoon and trick or treating Sunday evening. In other words a relaxing weekend at home ;)
