Whipped Cream & Candy Topped Punch for a #SpookyCelebration!

We are big fans of the holidays.

We love to dress up, decorate and bake/cook our way through Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter and yes…even Halloween.

Halloween in our house is more of a silly affair than a spooky one though. My kids aren’t fans of the scarier side of Halloween. Instead they like the fun, pumpkin patch side of things.

(I agree!)

One of my favorite punches includes both 7UP and Hawaiian Punch. I decided that for a fun #SpookyCelebration after school “snack” today, we’d create a fun and festive Halloween drink that my kids would enjoy!

I mixed 3/4 Hawaiian Punch with 1/4 7UP and topped with whipped cream.

Then I sprinkled on some chopped up 3 musketeers, milky way, snickers and twix and sprinkled some Halloween sprinkles on top.

Throw in a fun and festive Halloween straw and you have a Spooky Celebration drink to enjoy!

This recipe is very adaptable. Some people put sherbert in their punch, but I’m not a fan and neither are my kids.

Adding the 7UP to the Hawaiian Punch adds just enough “bubble” action that they feel like they are drinking something super fun and exciting.

And ANYTHING topped with whipped cream, candy and sprinkles is sure to be a hit with the kiddos!

What I used (you can get all of this at Walmart!):

  • 1 Gallon of Hawaiian Fruit Juicy Red (cold)
  • 1 2 Liter of 7Up (cold)
  • 1 bag of Mixed Miniatures – 230 piece 67.85oz Milky Way, Twix, 3 Musketeers, and Snickers (look for coupons here!)
  • Whipped Cream (the kind that comes in the pressurized can)
  • Halloween Sprinkles

Directions:

Depending on how much punch you want to make, you’ll want to do a 3/4 Hawaiian Punch to 1/4 7UP ratio. I suggest making this up by the glass for small get togethers, or using a big punch bowl and leaving the whipped cream and candy toppings on the side for guests to make their own.

It’s super simple and super fun.

Oh and super S-P-O-O-K-Y!
