(FYI, even if you are NOT an educator, Barnes and Noble has another membership program that you can join!)
It’s called B&N Educators, and it’s honestly pretty fantastic.
The Barnes & Noble Educator Program offers Pre-K through Grade 12 educators, librarians, and homeschoolers a 20% discount off the publisher’s list price on select items that we consider suitable for use in the classroom or with the student population, including most hardcover and paperback books, toys, and games.
Awesome, right?
Enrolling in the B&N Educator Program is super easy.
You can enroll in a Barnes & Noble store (find your closets Barnes & Noble here) OR you can fill out this form and submit for your Educator card.
Are you a homeschool teacher? If so, you can join in on this program as well! Homeschool teachers do need to apply IN store though.
After you’ve completed enrollment in the EducatorProgram, you can begin using the Educator discount immediately on eligible purchases made in the store and online.
What Will You Need To Apply For the Barnes & Noble Educator Program?
At enrollment and renewal Educators will be required to provide a valid school or institutional photo ID/pay stub to confirm employment at a school or eligible institution. If the school ID or other proof of employment provided does not contain a photo, a valid government-issued ID will be required in addition.
Homeschool teachers:
At Enrollment and renewal homeschooling parents must provide photo ID and a letter with the following information: family name and address; name of homeschooling parent(s); grade level of each child being homeschooled.)
Once you apply for your Educator account, your term will be 2 years from the date of your enrollment. You can ONLY renew your Educator account in stores.
