Even if you pay your bills on time or you deal in cash only, it’s still important to check your credit on a regular basis. You just never know when someone might be trying to use your good name (or good credit!) for their own benefit.
Identity theft is most easily rectified if it is caught early. So make a habit of checking your credit and look for discrepancies.
