This past weekend we used our very first Groupon (Restaurants, Salons and Events up to 90% off! Find deals in your city .Click Here )to head out to the Pumpkin Patch! We went to Dewberry Farm, a pumpkin patch pretty far from where we live. We have gone out there for the past 3 years, and it’s quickly becoming a tradition!

Since our Groupon took care of myself and my husband, and the baby was free, we only had to wait in line for a ticket for our son. I have to admit, as much as I love the idea of Groupon, I was so nervous the ticket taker was going to laugh at my printed out sheet of paper and make us pay full price! No fear, she barely even gave it a sideways glance!

Once inside, we stopped by the goats. I was so surprised that both kids walked right up and tried to pet one (I’m wondering now if there was a baby switch at the hospital. Goats? Eww!).

From there we played on the Little Farmer’s playground, watched puppet chickens sing songs, and climbed an enormous haystack!

The actual pumpkin patch was quite a disappointment. I’m trying to remember if it’s always been so sparse? I see a trip to a local church whose pumpkin patch is a bit more picture friendly in our future.

We had fun though, as we always do when we’re together! Worth the trip for sure!
