Do you have a little girl who loves to play with dolls?
I do.
My sweet little girl is in love with being a mommy.
I actually like to think that it’s a testament to my mothering when I see how gentle and kind she can be with her baby dolls. ;)
That’s why, when I first heard about the Little Mommy dolls by Fisher Price, I knew it would be the perfect fit for her!
First off, these dolls are just plain cute.
In a day and age where dolls are often a bit creepy or made to look much older and “mature” than they really are, seeing a baby doll that looks like a baby doll is so refreshing.
Her Little Mommy Baby So New Doll came with a blanket and a bottle.
It actually arrived on the morning of my son’s birthday party. Although we are not typically the type of family that buys presents for the non-birthday kid to ease the pain and suffering of watching their sibling get showered with gifts ;) , we did think this was pretty good timing.
When we got home from Noah’s party, we presented her with her Little Mommy doll! Right away, SHE was in charge. She grabbed her little (safety) scissors and went to work on freeing her baby from her box.
The moment she had her baby out, she was in Mommy mode! Feeding her baby, taking her baby for walks in the stroller and putting her baby to sleep.
She named her baby Phoebe, after the newborn baby of a dear friend of mine (who apparently made quite the impression on my little girl who usually prefers to name her children simply. Baby is the name of choice for most of her dolls! LOL).
"Let me see if she has a fever"
This baby doll is so sweet and my daughter loves her so much! She is easy to clean and just the right size for my 3 year old (the doll is for children 18 months and up).

I’d love to win this for my granddaughter who was just blessed with a new baby brother. She’s a bit rough around the edges and at 18 months I think it’ll help her learn how to help mommy more and be more gentle with baby brother :)
