Easy Instant Pot Brown Rice

Brown rice has always been hit or miss for me. I either cook it too long and it’s way too mushy (or burnt!) or I cook it too little and it’s still hard and crunchy (although I do like my brown rice to have a *bit* of a bite…I only like a tiny *bit* of a bite!).

Ever since I started making it in my Instant Pot though, I consistently have perfect results every single time!

Looking for more Instant Pot recipes? I love my Instant Pot!

Also, be sure you don’t forget dessert!

Here’s what you need to make the perfect Instant Pot Brown Rice:

  • 2 cups Brown Rice
  • 2 1/2 cups Water
  • Chicken bouillon – follow directions per cup on your preferred bouillon (or I like to use a heaping tablespoon of this stuff)

Directions:

  1. Put all ingredients into the Instant Pot. Set for 20 minutes on manual.
  2. Allow the Instant Pot to naturally release pressure
  3. Fluff the brown rice with a fork!

Your results may vary, but this seems to be the sweet spot for us!

Enjoy!
